LAW was started by Gillian in 2019 after growing increasingly concerned with the culture of fast fashion she witnessed during her career as a designer for both UK and US high-street brands. Driven by a desire to create thoughtfully designed, timeless styles that support local makers, all pieces are made in small batches either by Gillian in her studio in Glasgow or by a team of local machinists, with each piece being made to ensure no waste and from 100% natural materials.
