Handmade Soap with Charcoal and Bergamot by Acala (100g)
Charcoal is great for your skin. Strange as it may seem activated charcoal does wonders to brighten the complexion and cleanse pores.
For thousands of years Charcoal has been used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine to detox the body. It works by binding to toxins and chemicals in the skin, deeply penetrating pores and capturing dirt and grime so you can easily wash them away. This means the topical use of charcoal, including in soap, can be effective for pore decongestion.
Essential oils of bergamot, cedarwood, orange and rosemary add to the soap’s cleansing and purifying properties.
The soap is handmade over a period of several weeks using traditional methods which combined with high quality plant oils (organic olive, sunflower, cocoa and raw shea) gives the soap natural nourishing qualities.
