Rather than mass production, we support designers who create intentionally, often producing in small quantities, using deadstock and reworked vintage fabrics, and making to order where possible.
Why Independent British Designers?
Britain has a long-standing reputation for textile innovation, tailoring and artisanal production. From Liberty prints to traditional tartans, British design heritage continues to shape contemporary fashion.
At Percy Langley, we work closely with independent studios that honour this legacy while bringing a modern perspective to womenswear. Around half of our collections are British-made, often produced by the designers themselves or through small specialist makers.

Founded by Georgina Whall & Poppy Sherbrooke
With over 30 years of combined experience across major British retailers, founders Georgina Whall and Poppy Sherbrooke launched Percy Langley to reconnect fashion with craftsmanship and quality.
Established in autumn 2020, Percy Langley initially gained recognition for unique interior accessories, including The David Shrigley Tea Towel. The move into clothing and jewellery evolved organically, and our statement dresses and contemporary fine jewellery collections have since developed a loyal following in the UK and internationally.
Our slow fashion edits regularly feature heritage British textiles such as Liberty prints and tartan. We use deadstock fabrics and reworked vintage where possible, often releasing only small quantities. Designed to be trans-seasonal and made to last, our collections prioritise longevity over trends.
Together, we work closely with every designer we stock, building a collaborative community of independent brands united by creativity, inclusivity and responsible production.
