This type of kaftan have been worn by women in Mexico and Central America for centuries. They often wear it over another layer of clothing beneat the kaftan.
The kaftan dresses feature pockets on either side and each comes with a matching belt. Wear it loose without the belt for a relaxed easy feel or with the belt for a more city look.
100% cotton bamboo, cool in the summer and warm in the cooler months.
Gentle cold wash in similar colours.
Arifah Studio is a summer and beach wear brand based in London. Inspired by the beauty and traditions of Bali and Oaxaca, Arifah Studio blends unique batik and ikat prints and also hand embroidery with contemporary designs.
The garments are made by artisan communities led by women. All garments are made from natural fabrics, using natural dyes where possible and only produced in limited quantities.
