Charlie Scarf Cream And Navy Nautical Stripes by Charl Knitwear

Charlie is a lovely nautical striped scarf knitted loosely from certified 100% British wool from flocks not further than 50 miles from the mill where the yarn is spun in Yorkshire and knitted in our friendly factory in Nottinghamshire. Named after Charlie Grice, a Norfolk fisherman whose Gansey jumper inspired the collection thanks to the beautiful photograph taken of him by Olive Edis in 1918.

This piece doubles as both a scarf or shawl, easily packed into your bag so that you can pull it out when the weather turns chilly. Available in two variations: True Navy Blue (new for winter 2022) with a Cream stripe or Cream with a  True Navy Blue stripe. Charlie can be worn by men or women.

They’ve worked extensively on the perfect handle and finish for this piece so that it drapes and is as light as a feather.
