The Rosa Puff Sleeve Shirtdress in Blue Light Wash Japanese Denim by Saywood is a keeper. Made from a beautifully textured Japanese cotton – woven by artisans using time-honoured techniques in Ibara, Japan – it gets even better with age. The structural form is contrasted with easy volume, while the utilitarian feel of denim is offset with playful details – the puffed sleeves, the patch pockets trimmed with ruffles, the side splits on the skirt. Finished with dark-blue topstitching, adjustable corozo button cuffs on the sleeves, and neat bound hems in contrasting lilac, it' a true forever piece.
